I proposed Saturday November 26, 2022. I had the white garden reserved to try and make the proposal a bit more private. I convinced Sara Howard to go on a walk there since it was so nice outside. We get there and I can tell she knew it was going to happen but was nervous I would do it in front of a lot of people. She kept telling me to go to spots where there wasn’t a lot of people like near this blue house in the garden area. Eventually, I got her to go back to the area I had reserved where there was a gazebo with a table that had a white cloth on it, photos of us, and flowers. We walked up to the gazebo and then I proposed!
I had been planning this since roughly early September. I had to coordinate my family coming to Raleigh and then had to organize her friends coming in as well. I wanted to find a special place that would be pretty and somewhat private so I did some research and also talked to her cousin to see what she would recommend as well as if her sorority sisters also had any recommendations. I then spent the next few months organizing the whole day such as what we would do beforehand and the celebration events afterwards such as dinner and drinks.
We met through close friends in Atlanta. We were out for drinks at Pour taproom where we first met and the rest is history.
Being able to not only marry Sara Howard but share in the special moment with all our family and friends.
Our friendship
It was incredible and so easy to work with. The pictures came out perfect and we are both so thankful we have pictures to share and remember the moment.
