This Charlotte engagement session was simple yet classic and yielded timeless photos that are begging to be framed. Yhisleim and Richard wanted romantic portraits in Downtown Piedmont, followed by a trendy bar engagement shoot. A fun combination that gave the couple a wider variety of images to choose from!

The two opted for a neutral ensemble for their engagement photo outfits, to match the cheery downtown area. Yhisleim wore a champagne dress while Richard rocked a simple white shirt and khaki combo. The pair were all smiles as we trekked down the brick walkways, stopping to try a variety of poses. We also stopped for a quick photo (and twirl) in the middle of the roadway, which was perfectly framed by lush trees. Afterward, we hit up a nearby bar that featured an elegant design and soft lighting. It was the perfect backdrop for more intimate engagement photos, with furnishings that gave us the opportunity to capture more natural poses.
