I remember it like it was yesterday, when I first met Kiera and Vonqual. We were photographing Kiera’s sister’s, LaTarsha’s wedding day. Kiera was one of the bridemaids, and after we met LaTarsha mentioned her sister was going to be next. As the wedding day progressed Kiera introduced, to her now fiance’, Vonqual, who was all smiles. Vonqual then said “the ring is coming I’ll be on touch soon”. Now here we are and Vonqual kept his promise in contacting us. We are so happy for this amazing couple and can’t wait for the September wedding this year. Please take a look at some of the fun, from their engagement session.

How did you meet? We been together for about 2 years. Love at first sight.

Engagement story from the bride-to- be:

 It all began on June 25, 2016!!! What started off as a family vacation to our favorite beach in Wilmington, NC turned out to be one of the best days of my life. While out on the beach enjoying the view and soaking up the sun; Vonqual’s nephew’s girlfriend asked would I walk with her to the swimsuit store to purchase a swimsuit. So I agreed! As I was getting out of the beach chair Vonqual said “let me go with you two”…I pondered and said “why would you want to go with us to a swimsuit store”…he replied ” because I want to go to the gift shops”. We then go to the shops and get the swimsuit and gifts. On the way back to the beach while scrolling the boardwalk, Vonqual was holding my hand. As we got closer to the ocean, it was at the blink of an eye where I seen four ladies holding signs that said “WILL YOU MARRY ME”. As I was reading the signs, I was thinking to myself “huh, what’s going”. I suddenly, turned and looked back at my family and he was on his knee with the ring in his hand. My heart stopped, it couldn’t get any better than this. At that very moment, he asked “WILL YOU MARRY ME”, of course I replied “YESSSSSSSSSSSS”!!!! Our love story will always hold a special place in my heart; I couldn’t imagine life any other way.

What makes your love special? We both enjoy our Corny jokes lol and its never a dull moment when we are with eachother.
