Set out on a beautiful day, the couple Aquira and Brian looked stunning for their engagement photo shoot at the American Tobacco Campus. The feeling of making a lifetime commitment to the love of your life is filled with bliss and exuberance, and we wanted to capture these moments to perfection. The “picnic-style” first theme took place in a scenic park filled with bright colors and intimate dinner setting. We were honored to witness their love, laughter, and joy, which was evidently captured by our camera lenses. Aquira joked about the time they first met while working for Laboratory Corporation of America and how Brian insisted on inviting her to a 5K run. The scent and beauty of rose petals perfectly crowned the brewing romance between the couple.
In between shots, Aquira recalled the most special moments of the proposal and how it changed her life, forever. Brian popped the question on November 5, 2016, on Wrightsville Beach. While taking a relaxing walk on the beach, Brian surprised Aquira with a Pandora charm in a ring box that said, “the real ring is coming soon.” Aquira didn’t suspect much – Brian always showered her with flowers and gifts. Soon a photographer claiming to be a freelancer walked up to the couple and asked if she could click a few pictures. Aquira always loved being in front of a camera – it became evident with our photo shoot. Out of nowhere, Brian decided to add more magic to this perfect moment and got down on one knee to pop the question. Aquira was shocked and was taken by surprise. Without a doubt, she said yes, and that mysterious freelance photographer captured every moment.
For the second day, they decided to do a completely offbeat photo shoot in front of an old diner. The tarnished exteriors of the building added a perfect essence of chronology with its eccentric appeal. Aquira’s dressed in a stunning white skater dress and Brian’s spruce semi-formal look impeccably adapts with the bohemian background. Another shot was featured in front of a life-size, gray-colored door that represents stability and balance in the entire shoot.
The laughable moments and smiles captured by us will remain in our memories for an era. Serving Aquira and Brian with an outside view on their engagement was our biggest prize. We wish the couple all the happiness and success for their lifetime of togetherness. Aquila and Brian were such a great couple to work with. We couldn’t be more excited for Aquira and Brian’s wedding today at the Grand Marquise Ballroom. Congratulations to Aquira & Brian!
