We met Nakia at the Raleigh Rose Garden for her bridal portraits and after some thought we decided to head on over to Downtown Raleigh for her bridal portraits. The weather was perfect and I knew exactly where I wanted to photograph her. We were excited to have Nakia’s sister Nakhesia and her close friend Nashaee join us for this special occasion. I’ve known Nakia since our high school days at Enloe and I knew this was going to be a fun session. She has always been a sweet and kind spirit, plus she is total natural behind the camera. I love a bride with style and she definitely shinned during the shoot. Bridal sessions are so great because it gives the bride a moment to have fun and get comfortable in her wedding dress before the big day. It’s a exciting time!

The make up and hair is done to perfection and the bride gets a chance to preview how glamorous she will look on the wedding day. Nakia’s bridal session was one of my favorites and I’m so glad she took advantage of this opportunity. Manuel did a amazing job with her hair and make up during their engagement session and he didn’t disappoint this time either.
